The name
Pheme was the Greek goddess of fame. Not celebrity: what people say about you.
The Roman poets gave her a tongue for every feather. She spread rumours too. We stick to the true part.
Fame is your app, explained by someone who isn't you.
Why it exists
It's launch week.
